Parents,
Can you believe it's the last day of April?! The weeks following spring break always seem to fly by! Over the next few weeks, we will be reviewing topics that we covered this year, practice social/emotional skills that will help us interact with our peers, and work on kindergarten transition activities.
Next week, we will start meeting with you about the progress that your child has made in Pre-K this year. These conferences are especially important because we share your child's strengths and offer strategies for the summer to help with your child's areas of growth. If you have not already done so, please sign up via the links below!

Parents,
We have finished up our unit on Shadows and Reflections and have started Make It Move. In this unit, the children will learn all about different types of movement (push/pull), speeds, and will use classroom objects to create ramps to roll different objects. Please see the newsletter below for more information!
As the end of the year approaches, we are focusing on activities and skills that will prepare the children for the transition to kindergarten. Some of the things that you can be working on at home (in addition to homework) are:
-Writing first and last name using upper and lowercase letters
-Writing and identifying upper and lowercase letters and the sounds that they make
-Counting and identifying numbers 1-20
-Persevering through challenging tasks
-Cutting with scissors

Welcome back!
Welcome back parents!
We hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing break. Our friends had a great week getting back into the swing of things. I think we all missed each other!
Next week, we are going to start our new unit: From Jungle to Desert. I will attach the newsletter below!
We will begin homework week after next! Our homework layout is meant to be stress-free, engaging, and age appropriate. This year, we are doing a monthly homework calendar. You will be given the homework at the beginning of each month and choose at least 3 activities from the calendar to complete per week. If you chose an activity that requires a work sample or notes based on a conversation you've had, we would love to see them! If possible, please send them in on Mondays. At the end of each month, we will collect the signed homework calendar. Our first calendar will be sent out in February!
